Who belongs to which hat? Printout the Character and the Hat pages at the bottom of this page. Match each Jan Brett
character to the hat that fits. Color and cut out Gingerbread Baby,
Hedgie, and Baby Bear and glue them under the hat that is theirs.
In the spaces provided on the Hats page, write your first name, your teacher's or
librarian's name, your library's or school's name, the library's or
school's address, and the city, state, and zip or postal code. Mail the
completed artwork to Jan Brett, Box 5189,
Norwell, Massachusetts 02061.
You may enter as often as you wish, and mail as many copies as you wish
in one package, but please no photocopies, original
coloring artwork only. Home school students are welcome
to enter, but please use your local library for the address for your entry
so that all students may share in the free prizes. I'm looking forward to
visiting the winning school or library.
Prizes will be drawn at random from all of the entries and
will be announced on May 11th, 2009. There will be a Grand Prize
school or library visit, 2nd to 20th prizes of a copy of GINGERBREAD
FRIENDS, and 21st to 100th prizes of an autographed Jan Brett poster.
