What does the African white-bellied hedgehog look like?


C. It can be 6 inches(15 cm) long with only a stub of a tail. It weighs 18 to 25 ounces(500-700 g). They have five toes on the front feet and four toes on the back feet. Their spines are less than 1 inch (2.5 cm) long. The spines are "salt and pepper" in color. The snout is tan with the fur on the cheeks, belly and legs being white. This is the most common color variation.
